PRINCESS JASMINE
Classic Disney movies were a part of my childhood. I vividly remember seeing Aladdin in theaters with my brother and some neighborhood friends, and immediately connected with Princess Jasmine because of her long, dark hair. The magic carpet ride scene was so incredibly beautiful, and even to this day when that part of the movie hits the screen, I get goosebumps. So much old school Disney magic!
This glitter bomb was so fun to make, and I am so biased in thinking it’s beautiful because of the inspiration behind it. I wanted to create something that reminded me of Jasmine’s outfit and crown, and I am thrilled with how it turned out. In all honesty, I made this over a year ago, and it sat on my franken shelf unused until the mood finally stuck last week. I layered it over a duo chrome, holographic franken, but the glitter bomb really takes the cake, and all the attention away from the base color. I’m okay with that. This is two coats of Princess Jasmine dabbed over two coats of the unnamed franken.
UNNAMED HOLOGRAPHIC DUOCHROME FRANKEN
A color shift explosion that changes from teal to green to red, with a swirl of holographic goodness. It’s like a galaxy in a bottle.
LUMINARIES
Swatches provided by my awesome sister-in-law. Because I didn’t do these, I’m not sure what she layered Luminaries over, but if I had to make an educated guess, I would say… OPI Tomorrow Never Dies.
GOLD GLITTER AND MINT CREME HALF MOON MANI
No Glitter Bombs Away creations used in this manicure. Two coats L’Oreal Sparkalicious, one coat Color Club Gingerbread, topped with Wet n Wild I need a refresh-mint.
LIGHT AND AIRY
An ethereal mix of satin/matte finish hexes in various sizes in light green, light blue, and light turquoise. One coat dabbed over two coats China Glaze Stone Cold. I love how these glitters are nearly transparent, and you can see the depth when pieces of glitter are layered over each other. Sometimes you want a blinged-out glitterbombed manicure, and sometimes you want something graceful, subtle, and almost ghost-like. This is that.

SWAMP THING MANICURE
A layered glitter-gradient of Butter London Wallis, topped off with two GBA frankens. The first is a shimmer flake topcoat that reflects gold to lime green (unnamed), finished with a green glitter bomb consisting of emerald and moss hex and square glitters named Lucky.

TOYLAND
A rainbow mix of purples, pinks, blues, coppers, golds, silvers, and green glitters in shreds, hexes, bars, and squares of all sizes. One coat gradiently dabbed over L’Oreal Sparkalicious, with OPI I Have a Hering Problem as the base color. A different color combination, but I can’t stop starring at my nails… which means success!
